Laguna Beach Unified Wins National AP Award
District recognized for students' achievements in Advanced Placement program

According to an article in the Orange County Register, residents of Laguna Beach and their children have a lot to celebrate. The article, "2 O.C. school districts named AP districts of the year," states that Laguna Beach Unified and Los Alamitos Unified are two of 367 U.S. public school districts that have been named AP Districts of the Year. The distinction is earned due to Laguna Beach Unified's participation and achievement in the college-prep Advanced Placement program. Committee Being Formed To Review Village Entrance Project
New committee will review long-Gestating project before asking for public's opinion

The Village Entrance project has been debated for over 20 years, and the project is still no closer to becoming a reality. The proposed Village Entrance has seen many different proposals for how to potentially create new walkways from Laguna Canyon to the main Laguna Village area, with the development taking place across from the Festival of Arts' grounds. 55+ Laguna Beach Art Exhibit

Formerly known as the "Senior Art Show" this year the event known as the "55+ Art Exhibit" hosted by the City of Laguna Beach at the Community and Senior Center, will feature over 60 entries and the Mayor will announce the winner on March 18th. Laguna Beach being a city rich in a history of art and artists, makes this event just one of many every year to celebrate the artists culture that runs deep in this community.
